The Website Rescue Workshop

Learn to identify and fix the problems with your website
January 30, 2012 | 12pm - 3pm | Eastsound WA

The Website Rescue workshop is for small businesses that want to get better results from their websites.

It takes place on Monday, January 30, from 12pm to 3pm at the Funhouse Commons on Orcas Island.

The workshop will help you identify the most important and the most easily fixed problems on your website.

Workshop Format:

The workshop is a single three-hour live session. It’ll be a mix of theory / best practices, live examples, discussion, and pen-to-paper planning.

Approximately a month after the workshop we’ll have a bonus question & answer teleconference where you can follow up on what you learned and have been putting into action.

Is the Workshop for You?

I’ve designed the workshop for overworked business owners who don’t have much time for endless tweaks on their websites, and who probably don’t enjoy it much, anyway.

It won’t be technical. You don’t need to know HTML. But in order to make use of what you learn you’re either going to have to be able to do your own website work or you’re going to have to be willing to hire someone to do it for you.

We’re going to identify the major pitfalls that prevent people from becoming paying customers. These include:

  • Not being able to find your business when they need it
  • Not trusting your website when they get to it
  • Not being able to confidently and easily move to making a purchase

The workshop will help whether you’re selling online or you’re trying to drive people into a retail store.

It doesn’t matter whether you do your own website work or hire someone to do it for you.

We’re going to break things down so you can walk out of the workshop with a specific, achievable plan of action for your online marketing.

You’ll know which action items are going to have the most bang for the buck, and which you should put off until next year or never.

It’s a workshop. So come ready to work.

Cost:

The cost for the workshop and the followup phone call is $100. If you’re a Funhouse Commons or Chamber of Commerce member, it drops to $90.

Bonus:

Sign up with a friend and you each get a free 1/2 hour one-on-one consultation with me (by phone) to go over the changes you need to make and refine your action plan.

How to sign up:

Signing up is easy. You can either call the Funhouse Commons at 376-7177 or you can send an email to krista@thefunhouse.org. You can pay in advance (ask Krista for details) or at the door.

I hope to see you there!
